Appointment & Cancellation Policy
Last updated November 2026
I keep my schedule small so I can give each person my full attention. These policies help me hold that time for you, and for the next person who needs it.
Booking
- Appointments can be booked online up to 35 days ahead. Online booking closes 24 hours before each appointment time.
- New patients start with an initial visit (about 90 minutes): a conversation about your health and goals, followed by your first treatment.
- Follow-up visits are about 50 minutes.
- After you book, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to reschedule or cancel.
Cancelling or rescheduling
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can do this any time using the link in your confirmation email.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and missed appointments, are subject to a $75 fee.
- Life happens, especially during treatment. If you're unwell or something unexpected comes up, please let me know as soon as you can and we'll work it out together.
Arriving late
I keep a schedule and need to honor everyone's time. If you arrive late, your session will be shortened so the next person isn't kept waiting, and the full fee still applies.
Payment
- Initial visit: $175. Follow-up: $125.
- Payment is due at your visit.
- I accept credit card, cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle.
- I don't bill insurance. Superbills are available on request, which you may be able to submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
Text message reminders
If you opt in when booking, you'll receive one text reminder the day before each appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is not required to book.
Your care
Acupuncture works alongside your medical care, never in place of it. Please keep your physicians informed, and continue any treatment they've prescribed.
